School Meals
School Dinners
A healthy balanced lunch has been demonstrated to improve pupils’ concentration, attention, energy levels and academic performance. Schools are required to comply with nutrient based standards set by the Government. After Easter 2026 meals will be provided by HCL, as previously advised.
It is important that we are not only delivering what the children like to eat but we also ensure that all the nutrient based standards are met and these menus do that whilst containing many of our children’s favourites!
Our menus follow a three-week cycle and there will be five options each day, including a cold option. Once the new system is completely up and running meals will need to be ordered online in advance. More information will be provided after Easter.
The current cost of a school dinner is £2.50 and meals should be paid for in advance via the payments option on our parent app Scopay. We do not accept cash payments. The cost for the Summer Term will increase to £2.60.
If you think you may be entitled to claim Free School Meals for your child then do not hesitate to speak with our Office Staff who would be happy to advise you on eligibility and assist with your application if you wish.
